Ultimately we change our habits to get well or to prevent illness and disease.  The keys to our healing stands with Jesus Christ and all he has revealved and all that God has provided.

He alone holds the keys.  Eating right is simply an act of taking care of the bodies we have been given with the foods God has provided.

I pray God’s Spirit guides you in this journey that I am sure He has brought you here begin.  Start slow and slowly buy only these items for a while.  At the same time giving away, donating, or gradually consuming and not restocking harmful foods.  You can do this.  Let’s go shopping!

First things first

Sugar is toxic and causes disease

Grains, breads and dairy are hard on the gut and feed harmful bacteria and prevent healing.  Cut these three things and the healing begins.

  • Coconut Oil (organic, unrefined if possible)

The Sound of Baby Crying

Today I was contacted by a mom who was concerned for her 2 month old baby boy and needed formula because her son wasn’t able to breastfeed.

However, she was heading to the ER for her son, who was now having difficulty breathing.  I had a thought to ask her if he was recently immunized, and he had received a few last week.

Since then, he had been up at night screaming, fevered and unable to suckle and eat well.

He was having a vaccine reaction.  I quickly got in contact with a few natural pathic Dr in my area and a team of freedom fighters from Health Freedom Idaho, who quickly volunteered their support and services.

What! You don’t let your kids have sugar?

I have made some major changes this year, one being eliminating sugar from my diet and my kids diet, and have taken a lot of heat for it from others.  I feel like I am making the best choices for my children’s and my own health and for some reason, many feel that they must criticize and undermine me and tell me how terrible and mean I am being.

At birthday parties… “A little cake won’t hurt them.” Then comes candy from the piñata , ice cream and soda to top it all off.

Social gatherings… “Your mom won’t mind you having a little dessert” or two.

At the bank, from strangers… “What, they can’t have sugar? It’s only a sucker”

And still other times… “You can have it if you don’t tell you mom”

I don’t mind being the target, however, doing in front of or directly to my kids is not acceptable.  I have taught them why I have made these changes and they understand and don’t fight me.  I don’t need others to chime in and teach my kiddos to disobey or disregard my decisions.

I’m content being different and choosing to do the difficult in order to fight off disease.

My now five year old is just fine with it now.  I just remind him not to feed the worms.
