Translate Symptoms into Healing

Flee from disease by tackling what many believe to be the starting point in the body.  The BOWELS.

I began my journey by eliminating the kidney triggers such as refined added sugars, reading The 30 Day Faith Detox, drinking more and purified water and eating clean.

As part of the 30 day faith detox, I needed to address my lower bowels.  I was reminded of the amazing testimonials I had heard from customers while working for Dr Christopher’s Herb in college.  We sold a formula specific to cleaning the bowels and I definately needed and extra boost and decided to use the ingredients in Dr Christopher’s Lower Bowel Formula and put together my own tea with herbs I found locally from World Of Nutrition, Nampa’s bulk herb section for half the price.

Always use caution and research the ingredients for yourself, start on a low dose and ultimately you then decide what what to use and how much.

I had to start to interpret my symptoms and translate them into simple ways to start towards my journey to health.

About this same time I was given an answer from God.

Homemade Granola

capture_2016-09-29-15-42-28

If your like me you need a quick grab for energy throughout the day.  I make up a batch of granola for myself and kids and keep it in travel sized packaging-small mason jars.

Here’s how I make mine.

Homemade Granola

  • 3 C organic whole oatmeal
  • 1/2 Tbsp Saigon cinnamon
  • 1/2 C raw honey (approximate amount or to cover oats lightly)
  • 1-2 Tbsp black strap molasses
  • additional ingredients optional
    • raisins, nuts, chia, dried fruit, drizzles of coconut fudge to cover and blend

Combine oatmeal and cinnamon in a large bowl, slowly drizzle honey and molasses over the oats covering until well blended but not too sticky.  Bake on a cookie sheet at low temp for 10-15 minutes or until desired crunch or chewy.  Add additional ingredients to cooled oats and store in a sealed container in fridge or cupboard.
